Combined targeted therapy for non-small-cell lung cancer

Chemotherapy has helped improve the outcomes in patients with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC), but it seems to have reached a plateau. For the chemo-naive or chemo-refractory patients in particular, some new therapy is urgently needed. As more profound investigation comes into the mechanisms of the growth, movement,and metastasis of tumor cells, as well as the angiogenesis of tumor, targeted therapies have become a research focus. This review focuses on some current molecular targeting agents,some important clinical trials,and the combined targeted therapy.
