上海和香港老年护理机构中虚弱老年人的生存质量比较

目的 了解香港、上海两地虚弱老年人的生存质量.方法 2005年分别在香港和上海两地的老年护理机构随机选择952名虚弱老年人进行调查,其中香港467人,上海485人.采用晚期病患者生存质量量表进行评估,比较两地虚弱老年人的生存质量.结果 两地虚弱老年人在健康状况、人际关系、存在意义、医护照顾、对待生死的态度及负面情绪(情绪低落、紧张、担心、感到生活无望、对身边发生的事无能为力、无奈、给家人带来麻烦)的7个指标得分间差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);在生存质量自评和食物关注方面差异无统计学意义(P>0.05).结论 两地老年护理机构中虚弱老年人生存质量不同,建议将生存质量作为所提供服务的评价指标.

A Study of Quality of Life of Aged People in Elderly Care Institutions: A Comparison Between Aged People in Shanghai and in Hong Kong

Objective To study the qualities of life of aged people receiving long-term care in Shanghai and Hong Kong.Methods In 2005,nine hundred fifty-two frail aged people,467 from Hong Kong and 485 from Shanghai,were randomly chosen from elderly care institutions in Hong Kong and Shanghai to perform investigation.Quality of Life Concerns in the End of Life Questionnaire(QOLC-E)was used to compare the qualities of life of aged people from both cities.Results No significant difference was found in the mean QOLC-E score,food-related concerns,the value of life between the two groups(P>0.05),but in physical discomfort,negative emotions,interpersonal relationship,life nuance,attitude to life and death and healthcare concerns,there was(P<0.05).Conclusion The qualities of life of aged people from Hong Kong and Shanghai are different.Quality of life is suggested to be used as one of evaluation indicators of provided health service.
