| Abstract: | A new series of liquid crystalline polyesters ( 5a – f ) containing 1,4-cyclohexylene dibenzoate moieties as mesogenic units in the main chain was prepared and characterized. The rigid segments in the polymers are connected by α,ω-alkanedioyl units containing 4–8 or 10 methylene groups. |
