Comparison of the clinical efficacy of laparoscopic and open surgery in patients with early cervical cancer

Objective To discuss the clinical effect of laparoscopic and open surgery in patients with early cervical cancer.Methods A total of 106 patients with early cervical cancer were divided into observation group and control group according to different surgical procedures,with 53 cases in each group.The observation group was treated with laparoscopic surgery,and the control group was treated with traditional open surgery.The surgical indicators,hospitalization time,postoperative complications and recurrence rate of the two groups were compared.Results There was no statistically significant difference in the operation time and the number of lymph node dissections between the two groups(P>0.05).The intraoperative blood loss(144.23±20.07)ml of the observation group was less than(310.01±20.17)ml of the control group,and the hospitalization time(8.93±1.33)d was shorter than(14.02±2.12)d of the control group.All the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The complication rates 7.5%in the observation group was significantly lower than 22.6%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3 years after treatment,6 patients in the observation group had recurrence,with a recurrence rate of 11.3%;7 patients in the control group had recurrence,with a recurrence rate of 13.2%.There was no statistically significant difference in the recurrence rates between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic surgery has definite efficacy on patients with early cervical cancer,which can reduce the trauma and lower the complication rates,and patients recover quickly.It is recommended for clinical application.
