Abstract: | Objective To investigate the levels of serum hs-CRP,Hcy and MPO in non-diabetic maintenance hemodialysis patients and their correlation with carotid sclerosis. Methods Ninety non-diabetic maintenance hemodialysis patients admitted in Department of Hemodialysis,Zhangjiakou First Hospital between March 2018 and March 2020 were retrospectively selected as the observation group,and they were divided into the CA-IMT thickening group( n = 69) and the CA-IMT normal group( n = 21) according to the thickness of carotid sclerosis,and another 90 healthy individuals in the same period were selected as the control group. The levels of serum hs-CRP,Hcy and MPO in observation and control groups were compared;the levels of serum hs-CRP,Hcy,MPO of 90 non-diabetic maintenance hemodialysis patients with different thickness and carotid atherosclerosis degree were compared;the levels of serum hs-CRP,Hcy,MPO and carotid arteriosclerosis in non-diabetic maintenance hemodialysis patients eelevance were analyzed. Results The levels of serum hs-CRP,Hcy and MPO in the observation group were( 8. 38 ± 5. 52) mg/L,( 21. 71 ± 3. 11) μmol/L,( 145. 56 ± 124. 29) μg/L,which were higher than those in the control group ( 5. 66 ± 3. 47)mg/L,( 9. 55 ± 1. 86) μmol/L,( 109. 74 ± 79. 51) μg/L],the differences were statistically significant( P < 0. 05). The levels of serum hs-CRP,Hcy and MPO in the CA-IMT thickening group were( 9. 17 ± 2. 34) mg/L,( 23. 47 ± 3. 70) μmol/L,and( 161. 74 ± 133. 52) μg/L,which were higher than the normal CA-IMT group ( 5. 79 ± 1. 63) mg/L,( 15. 92 ± 2. 46) μmol/L,( 92. 38 ± 75. 23) μg/L],which were higher than those in the CA-IMT normal group,the differences were statistically significant( P < 0. 05). The levels of serum hs-CRP,Hcy,MPO in the severe group were( 14. 50 ± 1. 12) mg/L,( 25. 71 ± 5. 11) μmol/L,and( 175. 56 ± 134. 20) μg/L,which were higher than those in the moderate group ( 11. 43 ± 1. 21) mg/L,( 21. 55 ± 4. 53) μmol/L,( 145. 89 ± 114. 01) μg/L] and mild group ( 9. 72 ± 1. 10) mg/L,( 17. 21 ± 3. 11) μmol/L,( 120. 77 ± 90. 51) mg/L],and the levels of serum hs-CRP,Hcy,MPO in the moderate group were higher than those in the mild group,the differences were statistically significant( P < 0. 05). Correlation analysis showed that the levels of serum hs-CRP,Hcy and MPO were positively correlated with carotid atherosclerosis thickness in non-diabetic maintenance hemodialysis patients( r = 0. 430,0. 612,0. 560;P < 0. 05). Conclusion The levels of serum hs-CRP,Hcy and MPO are highly expressed in non-diabetic maintenance hemodialysis patients,and the CA-IMT thickening group is significantly higher than the CA-IMT normal group,the levels of serum hs-CRP,Hcy and MPO are positively correlated with carotid atherosclerosis thickness,detection of the levels of serum hs-CRP,Hcy and MPO can help assess the patient’s condition. |
