| Abstract: | Objective To investigate the effects of Ranansongpei（RNSP） on learning and memory function in SD rats model with Alzheimer＇s disease.Methods The AD model of rats was established by the injection of Aβ25-35 and D-galactose into the lateral cerebral ventricle and abdomen respectively,Tibetan medicine RNSP（1.65g/kg·d） were orally administered.The learning and memory ability of the AD model rats was detected by Morris water maze by pointed navigation ways.The activities of SOD and the MDA in serum were checked by colorimetric method.Results RNSP treated AD rats can remarkably increase the ability of leaning and memory（P〈0.05）,and improve the activity of SOD（P〈0.01）.At the same time,the decreased concentrations of MDA（P〈0.01） observed in RNSP group.Conclusion By reducing the levels of free radical reactive species may be the mechanisms of RNSP in treating the Alzheimer＇s rats. |
