Abstract:Objective To investigate expression and significance of CD81,CXCR3 in HCV mono-infection,HIV mono-infection and HCV/HIV co-infection.Methods We detected the surface expression of CD81 and CXCR3 on CD4~+T cells and CD8~+T cells from PBMC isolated from HCV infection(n=21),HIV infection(n=14),HCV/HIV co-infection(n=28) and normal control(n=30) by flow cytometry. Results The expression of CD81 and CXCR3 on CD4~+T cells decreased significantly(P<0.001),whereas it significantly increased on CD8~+T cells in HIV infection and HCV/HIV co-infection group(P<0.001).In HCV infection group, the expression of CXCR3 on CD4~+T cells as well as CD8~+T cells increased but not significantly, and expression of CD81 on CD4~+T cells slightly increased but significantly increased on CD8~+T cells(P<0.01).Conclusion The surface expression of CD81 and CXCR3 on CD4~+ T lymphocytes decreased, whereas it increased on CD8~+T lymphocytes from patients with HCV/HIV co-infection in China.
Keywords:CD81
