A review of the studies on the causes and countermeasures of mental stress in clinical nurses in China

This article introduced the methods of study on the causes of mental stress in clinical nurses,summarized the stress of nurses,which included that the value of busy nursing works couldn't be realized,the occupational features of nursing and mental factors,nurses' professional competence couldn't satisfy the demands of nursing works.Some countermeasures were proposed,such as monitoring nurses' level of strain,directing nurses to use methods of self-adjustment and reducing stressors to maintain nurses' self-esteem and self-confidence,helping nurses to master the skills of psychological communication and techniques of stress alleviation,and improving nurses psychological diathesis to protect their physical and psychological health.
