高斯噪声对DTI参数MD和FA的影响

摘    要:目的探索弥散张量成像(diffusion tensor imaging,DTI)中高斯白噪声对参数平均弥散率(mean diffusion,MD)和各向异性分数(fractional anisotropy,FA)的影响。材料和方法计算多个感兴趣区的MD和FA值,分析这两个参数随高斯噪声方差的变化趋势。结果在所研究的方差范围内,MD不受高斯噪声的影响,且图像视觉效果变化也很小;但FA参数受到高斯噪声的影响很大,图像视觉效果严重下降。结论DTI参数MD具有较强的鲁棒性,而FA受噪声的干扰较大,临床上适当折衷之后,可以允许一定噪声存在以增加图像细节。

Abstract:Objective Research the effect of Gaussian noise on the DTI parameters MD and FA. Materials and Methods Calculate the MD and FA values in ROIs, and analyze the relationship between MD, FA and the variances of gaussian noise. Results In a specific range, Gaussian noise almost has no influence on MD, and the visual performan change slightly. However the Gaussian noise influences FA evidently and the visual performance decrease gradually. Conclusion DTI parameter MD is more stable than parameter FA and certain noise can exist to reserve more image details.
