Lokal-ablative Therapie

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most common malignant tumors in some areas of the world. Its incidence is also increasing in Western countries. Apart from surgical procedures (resection, liver transplantation), percutaneous local ablative (ethanol injection, radiofrequency thermal ablation, as well as radiation therapy) and transarterial local ablative interventions are effective non-surgical therapeutic options based, in part, on randomized controlled trials. In our review, we summarize the different local ablative strategies for patients with HCC.
