Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of BFGF continuous subcutaneous injection by analgesia pump to the survival of extra long free skin flap in rabbits.Methods 12 rabbits were randomly divided into three groups,BFGF continuous treatment group(A group),BFGF treatment group(B group)and control group(C group)(n=4),with the construction of free skin flap(6.0 cm×15 cm) and hypodermic needle-embedding therapy in the back of rabbits in each group.A group received continuous treatment for 3 days,while B and C group received BFGF and 0.85 saline injection on the 1st day,2nd days,and 3rd day.We observe the survival area of the skin flap,calculate the survival rate of it,detect the number of new blood vessels and the change of immunohistochemistry on the 7th day after operation.Results The survival rate of skin flap in A group is(75.41±2.19)%,B group is(54.38±4.52)%,while C group is(35.43±2.71)%.The temperature of the middle part in the skin flap of each group have no significant difference in the immediate moment after operation,while have significant difference(P<0.05) in the 2nd and 3rd day after operation and have extremely significant difference(P<0.01) in the 4th and 7th day after operation.Conclusion BFGF continuous subcutaneous injection will improve the survival rate of free skin flap,and mightbe the stimulation of endothelial cell proliferation need time process.
