Practice of flat scheduling and contractual liability model in high-quality care

Objective To explore the effectiveness of flat scheduling and contractual liability model applied to the high-quality nursing demonstration project.Methods Thirty nurses working in department of orthopedics were arranged according to flat scheduling model,then nurses managed patients based on the contractual liability system.Satisfaction degree of patients,nurses and doctors were surveyed before and after the implementation of the new working model.Results Patient satisfaction with nursing care,nurses′ job satisfaction and doctors′ satisfaction with nurses were significantly improved after the implementation of the new working model(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion The implementation of flat scheduling and contractual liability model in the high-quality nursing demonstration ward can improve satisfaction of patients,nurses and doctors.It is beneficial to promote achievement of the high-quality care demonstration project.
