| Abstract: | Objective:To observe the vascular dementia(vascular dementia,VD) in patients with EEG(electroencephalograph,EEG) changes for early diagnosis of VD.Methods:The EEG results of 96 VD patients were compared with the mini mental state Examination(Mini-Mental state Examination,MMSE) score.Results:Of the 96 cases,89 with abnormal EEG,the performance of the α rhythm was slow,irregular,and the regulation was poor,α wave index decreased and even disappeared,mixed with irregular low-amplitude θ wave,part of the EEG in patients with severe VD performance,for the lead United are likely to be low in volatility spread mixed θ and δ waves.There were some correlations between EEG severity of changes and MMSE score.Conclusions:EEG changes can more objectively reflect the level of brain function in patients with VD and extent of the damage,and it is valuable for the early diagnosis of VD. |
