Progress in the study of perioperative complications and prevention and treatment of spinal cord injury

Spinal cord injury is one of the most serious complications of spinal cord injury. Spinal cord injury can paralyze patients and deprive them of labor force, which causes economic and psychological burden to both families and patients. With the rapid pace of urbanization in China in recent years, the incidence of spinal cord injury has been increasing year by year and has become the most intractable disease in the field of spinal surgery in China. With the rapid development of medical technology, minimally invasive surgery and pioneering surgery have been constantly improved and developed, and have become the preferred treatment for patients today. However, the complicated complications, high morbidity and great harmfulness during and after operation are the important factors hindering the development of surgery. This paper summarizes several perioperative complications with high incidence, hoping to provide reference for spinal surgeons to avoid and treat perioperative complications in the future, so as to relieve patients.
