An Introduction to Prof. Yin Changjian's Experience for the Treatment of Chronic Hepatopathy

Prof. Yin' s experience on the treatment of chronic hepatopathy(CH) was summarized. The etiology, pathogenesis and therapeutical principle of CH were pre sented in detail. He considered that the methods of re moving toxic substance are various; prolonged disease leads to obstruction of collaterals and removal of blood -stasis should be applied for xue - syndrome; retention of damp - heat damages the spleen and stomach, so that the spleen should be protected during the clearing therapy; lingering of pathogenic factor with deficiency of healthy qi is difficult to be cured rapidly, so that supporting healthy qi and expelling pathogenic factor should be per sisted. His experience provides a valuable reference for clinical practice.
