附桂抗瘀血论

明、清迄今,对附子、肉桂的认识和应用,局限于温阳散寒,这是偏狭之见。宋前本草如《本经》、《别录》、《集注》、《药性论》、《日华子本草》等俱认定附子、肉桂有活血化瘀的抗瘀血作用,所谓“破癥坚积聚、血瘕"、主“心痛、胁风、胁痛、温筋通脉”。晚近实验室研究的结论也支持古代医家的观点,说明附子、肉桂具有抗血凝的作用。

Effect of Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata and Cortex Cinnamomi on Blood Stasis

From Ming and Qing dynasties up to now, the cognition to the effects of radix aconiti lateralis preparata and Cortex cinnamomi is limited to warming yang and dispersing cold. Materia medica classics before Song dynasty, such as Shennong's Classic of Materia Medica, Records of Great Physicians, Collected Commentaries on the Canonical Pharmacopoeia, Discussion on Property of Materia Medica, and so on, record this two herbs can "removing abdominal mass, accumulation and blood mass", treat "heartache, hypochondriac wind and pain", both have the effect of "warming the tendon and promoting blood circulation", which are now surpported by the laboratory studies. So it can conclude that radix aconiti lateralis preparata and cortex cinnamomi has the effect of anti-blood stasis.
