Abstract: | The effect on FHR baseline variability of intravenous scopolamine (0.43 mg.) administered alone and in combination with Demerol (50 mg.) and Largon (20 mg.) was evaluated. A decrease in baseline variability was found in nine of 19 patients given scopolamine (0.43 mg.). When scopolamine, Demerol, and Largon were infused simultaneously, a change in baseline variability was observed in nine of 12 patients. No change in variable or early deceleration FHR patterns was observed. |
