Abstract:Changes of ABP, LVP, dp/dt and CO in 12 rabbits were observed respectively at 0, 1, 3, 5 and 10 min after placing laryngoscope and endotracheal intubation (E1). E1 was done 5 min after intravenous administration of innovar (0.1 ml/kg) in experimental group. Results showed that in control group, MAP increased significantly (P<0.05) at 1 and 3 min after E1, RPP increased significantly at 0 (P<0.05) and 1 min (P<0.01) after EI. LVSP increased at the time of placing laryngoscope and at 0, 1 min after EI (P<0.05). There were no obvious changes in HR, CO, dp/dtmax and t-dp/dtmax. In experimental group, there were no significant changes in RPP, HR, MAP, CO and t-dp>/dtmax. LVSP and dp/dtmax decreased significantly (P<0.05) at 1, 3 and 5 min after EI. It was con-cluded that 5 min after intravenous administration of innovar was the best point for EI, in which increase of RPP and stress stimulated by EI were prevented without changes of MAP and CO.
