Theoretical Innovation and Application Practice of Pharmacophylogeny

This paper described the establishment and development of pharmacophylogeny and summarized the research outcomes and practical achievements of the discipline in terms of searching for domestic alternative resources of imported drugs, discovering new taxa of medicinal plants, exploring new drug sources, developing and utilizing resources, evaluating the quality of Chinese medicine (ethnic medicine), etc. In the future, it will continue to integrate new knowledge and technology and summarize the experience and technology for medicinal plant research and development to promote the sustainable utilization of Chinese medicinal resources and the inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese medicine.
