| Abstract: | Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of bronchoscope cargon plasma coagulation therapy for airway stenosis. Methods In 140 patients diagnosed as airway stenosis, on the basis of treating the primary disease , central airway stenosis was treated by argon plasma coagulation(APC). The therapeutic effects were evaluated based on recanalization of stenosis after interventional treatment. Results As a result of the interventional treatment, among the 140 patients, complete relieve was observed in 62 cases (44.3 %) , partial relieve in 55 cases (39.3 %) , mild response in 23 cases (16.4%) . The total effective rate was 100 %. Conclusions A timely and correct APC treatment for the patients with central airway stenosis should be beneficial and should be worthy to recommended for clinical application. |
