| Abstract: | A series of 2-arylamino-1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives was synthesized with the aim to find new antihypertensive compounds. The antihypertensive activity of some of these compounds was examined intraperitoneally in conscious spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR). The tested compounds showed activity, but none of these possessed a higher potency than the reference substance guanabenz. |
