| Abstract: | The ribs, sternum, and vertebrae all play an important role in stabilizing the thorax. Failure of one of these components places additional stress on the other supporting structures. We present a case of a 62-year-old man with multiple myeloma and osteopenia who sustained fractures to all three components. |
