| Abstract: | We describe an aortic valve-sparing operation in a small child with an ascending aortic aneurysm and root dilatation. The operation avoids the need for a prosthetic valve and long-term anticoagulation. Thus, the procedure is an attractive alternative for young children in whom a Ross procedure is not feasible. |
