| Abstract: | In 20 adult patients undergoing inguinal herniorhaphy neuromuscularblock was induced with tubocurarine 10 mg. In 10 patient, neostigmine12 mg antagonized the block and restored the twitch responseto its baseline value. Physostigmine, up to 4 mg, did not producesignificant antagonism of the neuromuscular block. |
