Discussion on the Disinfection Standardization Management for Operation Instruments

Objective To discuss the disinfection standardization management measures for operation instruments. Methods A retrospective method was used to analyze the disinfection standardization management measures for operation instruments implemented in our hospital from March, 2008 to March, 2013 and the effect. And patients＇ satisfaction with the disinfection effect of operation instruments in our hospital was investigated. Results After the implementation of thorough disinfection standardization management for operation instruments, no one surgical device safety accident occurred during the five years, and patients＇ satisfaction with the disinfection effect of operation instruments in our hospital was good. Conclusion Disinfection standardization management for operation instruments should be implemented strictly so as to avoid the occurrence of safety accidents and ensure the life and health of patients.
