| Abstract: | Objective To observe the clinical curative effect of S-Adenosylmethionine(SAMe) in treating chronic hepatitis B with hyperbilirubinemia.Methods To retrospectively analyse 120 cases of chronic hepatitis B patients with hyperbilirubinemia.Sixty cases treated with both glycyrrhizin therapy and SAMe were considered as the treatment group while the other 60 cases treated with only glycyrrhizin therapy as the control group.Serum TBiL,DBiL,ALT,AST,γ-GT and ALP were observed and compared before and two weeks after the treatments.Results After treatments,significant declines in the levels of serum TBiL DBiL ALT and AST were observed in both groups,and also in γ-GT and ALP in the treatment group.The levels of TBiL DBiL ALT AST γ-GT and ALP dropped more in the treatment group than control group.Conclusion SAMe can improve liver function and is a good treatment for chronic hepatitis B with hyperbilirubinemia. |
