| Abstract: | Dampness, heat, toxin and blood stasis were the main pathological factors of SARS. Its therapeutics lied in clearing away heat, removing toxin, eliminating dampness and removing blood states at acute stage, characterized by pathogenic sthenia and tonifying qi and spleen, nourishing yin and lung at the recovery stage with Zhengqi deficiency. On prevention of SARS TCM put emphasises on avoiding source of infection and strengthening Zhengqi. |
