| Abstract: | Objective： To investigate correlation between growth-differentiation factor 15（GDF-15） and coronary artery stenosis（CAS） in patients with unstable angina pectoris（UA）.Methods： Expression of GDF-15 in 106 UA patients were detected with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay（ELISA）,coronary status in these patients were evaluated with coronary angiography and Gensini scoring system,then these patients were divided into 3 groups according to the evaluation results,among which,expression levels were compared,the correlation between GDF-15 and CAS were analyzed.Results： Among three groups with different Gensini scores,expression levels of GDF-15 were significant different（P0.001）,severity of CAS increased as the GDF-15 expression level increased indicating and positive correlation between GDF-15 and CAS severity.Conclusions： Expression level of GDF-15 can be used as a indicator for CAS evaluation in UA patients. |
