Surgical treatment for 156 cases with intrahepatolithiasis

Objective To evaluate the result of the surgical treatment on patients with intrahepatolithiasis.Methods The clinical data of 156 patients with hepatolithiasis were reviewed and analyzed retrospectively.39 cases received hepatolobectomy(hepatic segmentectomy),11 cases received helatolobectomy(hepatic segmentectomy) plus Rous-en-Y cholangiojejunostomy,11 cases received hepatolobectomy(hepatic segmentectomy) plus choledochotomy and calculus removal,27cases received hepaticolithotomy plus Roux-en-Y cholangiojejunostomy and simple choledochotomy and calculus removal plus T-tube drainaged in 68 cases.Results The overall sufficient or complete remission rate was 91.1%,the postoperative complication rate was 7.7%,the surgical mortality rate was 0.6% and the residual stone rate after operation was 14.8%.Conclusion It is essential to release obstruction and remove the cause in the treatment of hepatolithiasis.The patterns of operation should be chosen according to different situation,to improve surgical results and lower postoperative complication rate.
