Objcotive： To introduce the concept, classlncauon,methods,funding resources,direction of scientific topics. Methods： Review and analyze related literatures. Results： Grasp the principles and guidance, pay attention to the research activities, grasp the scope of study, exploit the researchers＇ advantages to the full, then design a practical route. Conclusions： Basic principles, methods and techniques during selecting scientific research topics were discussed, which can be taken as a reference for researchers when applying for conducting projects.
