摘    要:As a newly developed border line science, the artificial neural network (ANN)has been applied in many fields. The ANN was used in the selection of contraceptives in the article, and the performances of the artificial neural networks and traditional multivariate logistic regression analysis method were compared with the training data and the testing data by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves. The results imply that ANN may be applied and developed further in statistics and medical fields hopefully.
