Abstract: | Pulmonary AVMs are most commonly seen in patients with HHT, a fascinating multi-system disorder that is all too often underdiagnosed and undertreated. Not only a medical curiosity, HHT is a serious condition that causes substantial morbidity and mortality. Pulmonary AVMs are effectively and safely treated by transcatheter embolotherapy. |
