Comparison on the Effects of Dynamic Electrocardiogram and Echocardiography in the Diagnosis of Elderly CoronaryHeart Disease

Objective To compare the effects of dynamic electrocardiogram(DCG)and echocardiography(ECHO)in the diagnosis of elderly coronary heart disease.Methods 200 elderly patients with suspected coronary heart disease admitted to our hospital from October 2017 to October 2019 were selected,and DCG and ECHO were performed in all cases.With the results of coronary angiography as the gold standard,the sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of DCG and ECHO in the diagnosis of elderly coronary heart disease were compared.Results The results of coronary angiography showed that among 200 elderly patients with suspected coronary heart disease,144 cases(72%)were positive and 56 cases(28%)were negative for coronary heart disease.The sensitivity and accuracy of DCG in the diagnosis of coronary heart disease were 88.89%and 83.00%respectively,significantly higher than 77.08%and 73.50%of ECHO,respectively(P<0.05);No significant difference was found in the specificity between DCG and ECHO in the diagnosis of coronary heart disease(P>0.05).Conclusions Dynamic electrocardiogram has higher sensitivity and accuracy than echocardiography in the diagnosis of elderly coronary heart disease,which can effectively improve the detection rate of coronary heart disease,and has high clinical diagnostic value.
