Clinical Study of Uterine Balloon Stent or Intrauterine Device Placed in Uterine Cavity After Hysteroscopic ElectrosurgicalResection of Intrauterine Adhesions in the Prevention of Intrauterine Adhesions

Objective To compare the effects of uterine balloon stent or intrauterine device placed in uterine cavity after hysteroscopic electrosurgical resection of intrauterine adhesions in the prevention of intrauterine adhesions.Methods 60 patients with hysteroscopic electrosurgical resection of intrauterine adhesions were selected and randomly divided into two groups,with 30 cases in each group.The observation group was implanted with Cook balloon type uterine stent,and the control group was implanted with intrauterine device after surgery.The postoperative bleeding and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups.Results The incidences of moderate and severe bleeding at 48 h after surgery in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group,and the amount of bleeding was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate in the observation group was 96.67%,significantly higher than 80.00%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Uterine balloon stent placed in uterine cavity after hysteroscopic electrosurgical resection of intrauterine adhesions can reduce postoperative bleeding symptoms and effectively prevent recurrence of adhesions,and the effect is better than implantation of intrauterine device.
