Correlative Analysis Between Plasma ET, Leptin and Serum AdiponectinLevels in Patients with Primary Hypertensive Nephropathy

Objective To explore the correlativity between plasma ET,Leptin and serum APN levels in patients with primary hypertensive nephropathy.Methods plasma ET Leptin(with RIA) and serum APN(with ELISA) levels were measured in 32 patients with primary hypertensive nephropathy,in 60 patients with essential hypension,but no nephropathy,as well as in 35 healthy controls.Results plasma ET,Leptin levels in the patients were significantly higher than those in controls(P<0.01),while the serum APN levels was markedly lower than those in controls(P<0.01),Meantime the serum APN levels were obviouly higher in subject with nephropathy(P<0.05).The reverse was true for APN(P<0.05) simultaneously.Conclusion The development of primary hypertensive nephropathy was correlated with a higher ET,Leptin and lower serum APN levels.These useful biomarkers provide important clinical value.
