| Abstract: | Objective To explore the clinical significance of changes of plasma leptin and serum Hcy,CysC levles in patients with nephrotic syndrome.Methods Plasma leptin(with RIA),serum Hcy(with CLIA) serum CysC(with ELISA) levels were determined in 30 patients with nephrotic syndrome and 35 normal control.Results Plasma leptin and serum Hcy,CysC levels were significantly higher than those in controls(P<0.01).Plasma leptin levels were positively correlated with serum Hcy,CysC levels(r=0.6138,0.5782,P<0.01).Conclusion Changes of plasma letpin and serum Hcy,CysC levels might be of prognostic importance in patients with nephrotic syndrome. |
