PrimaryCDH of long duration includestransformed migraine, chronic tension–type headache, and new dailypersistent headache and hemicraniacontinua. Analgesics, ergots andtriptan overuse are frequent in alltypes of CDH. We revise recentinsights into the epidemiology, pathophysiology, clinical characteristicsand prognosis of CDH.
