大学新生适应状况的定性研究

摘    要:目的 了解定性研究方法在大学新生适应状况研究中的应用价值和特点,为开展新生教育提供依据。方法 应用定性研究专题小组讨论的方法,对某高校新生适应状况进行调查。结果 大学生普遍能接受专题小组讨论的调查形式;定性研究显示,大学新生存在适应问题,学生的适应状况可能与专业、性别及人格特点有关;新生有愿望从学校获得帮助以解决适应问题和缩短适应期。结论 专题小组讨论的方法适用于探讨大学新生的适应问题,可以为深入研究提供线索。

Abstract:Objective To study the application of qualitative study in the research on adjustment status among freshmen, and to provide basis for their education. Methods Focus Group Discussions method was applied to investigate the adjustment of the freshmen in a college. Results The freshmen accepted the manner of Focus Group Discussions. It showed that adjustment problems commonly existed in freshmen. The adjustment status related to their majors, genders and personalities. The freshmen had desire to resolve the adjustment problems and shorten the adjustment period. Conclusion Focus Group Discussion is applicable for the research on adjustment status among freshmen, and it can provide basis for the further study.
