| Abstract: | Authors had applied laser capsulolysis for 52 cases of eyes having posteriorcapsular fold after extracapsular cataract extraction and posterior chamber artificialintraocular lens implantation by means of Nd:YAG laser since 1988 to 1992.Laserenergy of a single pulse is 0.4 to 1.1 mJ,and the total curing energy needed per eye wasaveragely 24.1 mJ.Visual improvement rate after treatment reached to 100% withoutapparent complications. |
