Abstract: | 1. Anxiety induced by forced swimming increases maximal intensity (h) of platelet aggregation (PAG) and time to reach it (t). 2. PK 11195 pretreatment (12.5 and 25 mg/kg) reverses anxiety-induced PAG changes. At 6.25 mg/kg it inhibits PAG. 3. Changes induced by anxiety on PAG may be mediated by peripheral-benzodiazepine receptors. |
