反(牙合)畸形早期矫治效果的临床观察

目的:探讨早期矫治反畸形并观察其恒牙列萌出及咬合稳定的关系。方法:选择替牙期反患者50例,应用单一或联合方法矫治,并随访进入成年阶段,观察患者在此期间的牙齿排列及咬合关系的变化。结果:所有患者均有良好的咬合关系,且保持咬合的稳定性。结论:通过早期矫治,主要是在替牙期进行的适当治疗,不仅能使反(尤其是骨性反)的恒牙列在牙弓内正常萌出,而且还能获得长时间的稳定,大大减少复发的现象。

Long-term clinical follow-up results of early treatment of crossbite malocclusion

Objective To investigate the results of early treatment of crossbite malocclusion and follow up the eruption of permanent dentition and occlusal stability.Methods Fifty mixed dentition subjects with crossbite malocclusion were included in the study.Either single or combined orthodontic treatments were applied.All subjects were followed up for 10 years till 18 years old on their occlusal relationship and stability.Results All study subjects demonstrated good occlusal relationship and stability at the end of the study.Conclusion Patients' permanent dentition can erupt normally with good long-term stability and significantly reduced relapses when their crossbite(especially skeletal crossbite) malocclusions are treated early in the mixed dentition stage.
