| Abstract: | An 83-year-old woman experienced the abrupt onset of musical hallucinations. She had had long-standing progressive hearing loss due to otosclerosis. The clinical, psychopathological and pathogenetic aspects of this syndrome are discussed by means of a review of the literature. |
