Abstract: | A 64-year-old man presented with gross hematuria. Physical examination showed a mass under the phimotic foreskin. Circumcision revealed a 2cm polypoid tumor on the inner layer of prepuce. Tumor resection was performed and pathological diagnosis was carcinosarcoma which was composed of squamous cell carcinoma and spindle cell sarcoma. Biopsy of the scar lesions revealed residual squamous cell carcinoma and computed tomographic scan revealed swollen inguinal lymph nodes. Partial penectomy and lymph node biopsy were performed. Pathological examination revealed residual squamous cell carcinoma and no lymph node metastasis. There was no recurrence for one year. We report this very rare case of carcinosarcoma of the penis. |
