| Abstract: | The development and mechanism of action of macrolide antibiotics and the researches on structure modification and structure-activity relationship of azalides in recent years were reviewed. Azalides are the new generation semi-synthetic macrolides with a broad-spectrum and strong antibacterial activity and better pharmacokinetics behavior. |
