In A Station of the Metro is a famous poem of Ezra Pound the pioneer of American Imagist poetry.The poem is viewed as the representative work of Imagist poetry.Although it has only two lines,it's highly symbolic and suggestive language as well as it's rich connotations well shows the characteristics of a imagist poem.The present paper,therefore,tries to fully probe into the images concerned in the poem,in the purpose of helping the reader understand and appreciate the rich connotations it contains better.
