| Abstract: | This paper performed hybridization in situ to examine RNA of enterovirus infection in paraffin - embedded myocardial specimen from 10 patients with subacute Keshan disease and 10 patients with chronic Kenshan disease using the CVB3 cD-NA probe and apoptosis testing agent by Oncor corporation, Of the 10 patients with subacute tissues were infected by in-terovirus and had apoptosis. Of the 10 patients with chronic Keshan disease. It showed enterovirus infection and 6 of them had apoptosis, the rest 3 patients also had apoptosis. The apoptosis position is identical with the position of enterovirus infection. The results suggested that enterovirus infection may be highly related to Keshan disease and involved apoptosis. |
