| Abstract: | Vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)is a multipeptide growth factor that is distributed widely to most vascular endothelial cells in organs and tissues.The growth factor plays an important role in the biology of the vascular endothlium.and can lead to the growth of blood vessels.This article gives a general overview of the research on the biological characteristics of VEGF and its role in ocular neovascular diseases. |
