The clinical application of laparoscopic cholecystectomy with preservation of the main gallbladder artery in acute cholecystitis

Objective:To explore the value of laparoscopic cholecystectomy with preservation of the main gallbladder artery in acute cholecystitis.Methods:A total of 112 patients with acute cholecystitis from May 2018 to May 2020 were randomly divided into experimental group and control group.Fifty-eight patients in the experimental group underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy with preservation of the main gallbladder artery,while 54 patients in the control group underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy with clamping of main gallbladder artery.The operation time,intraoperative blood loss,incidence of biliary leakage,hospital stay,and hospitalization expenses were compared between the two groups.Results:The operations were successfully completed in both groups.There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in terms of age,gender,hospital stay,hospitalization costs(P>0.05).The operation time and intraoperative blood loss of the experimental group were significantly less than those of the control group(P<0.05).No biliary leakage occurred in the two groups.Conclusions:For patients with acute cholecystitis,laparoscopic cholecystectomy with preservation of the main gallbladder artery can effectively reduce the intraoperative blood loss and shorten the operation time,it is worthy of clinical application.
