学习精神科护理学对学生精神病公众污名影响的研究

目的探讨精神科护理学课程学习在改善护理专业学生对精神病公众污名中的效果。方法采用类实验性研究,招募130名即将进入精神科护理学课程学习的护理专业学生为研究对象。课程学习前后采用问卷收集护理专业学生对精神病公众污名、与精神病患者社交距离及为精神病患者服务意愿的得分。结果精神科护理学课程学习前后,护理专业学生对精神病患者接纳情况、与患者的社交距离及为患者提供护理服务意愿差异均具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论精神科护理学课程的学习可以促进护理专业学生接纳精神病患者、降低与患者的社交距离及提高为患者提供护理服务的意愿,但并不能改善护理专业学生对精神病污名的态度。

The effect of Psychiatric Nursing course education on nursing students' perception of public stigma of mental illness

Objective To examine the effect of Psychiatric Nursing course education on changing nursing students＇ perception of public stigma of mental illness. Methods Totally 130 nursing students were investigated with Public Stigma Scale,Social Distance Scale and a self-designed questionnaire about their willingness to deliver nursing services to people with mental illness before and after the course of Psychiatric Nursing. Results There were significant differences in the score of acceptance subscale,social distance scale and willingness to deliver nursing services to people with mental illness after the course study. Conclusion The course of Psychiatric Nursing can promote nursing students to accept people with mental illness,reduce social distance with them,and improve their willingness to deliver nursing services to them. But it failed to make any change in students＇ stigmatizing attitudes toward people with mental illness.
