薄荷醇吸嗅对大鼠学习记忆及海马区乙酰胆碱酯酶及谷氨酸受体1表达的影响

摘    要:目的研究薄荷醇吸嗅对大鼠学习记忆及海马区乙酰胆碱酯酶(AChE)及谷氨酸受体1(GluR1)表达的影响。方法 SD大鼠共20只,随机分为洁净空气吸嗅组(对照组)和薄荷醇吸嗅组,其中薄荷醇吸嗅组每天给予薄荷醇吸嗅1 h。通过Morris水迷宫实验检测两组大鼠的学习记忆能力,并利用免疫组织化学染色法观察对照组和薄荷醇吸嗅组海马中AChE和GluR1的表达情况。结果与对照组相比,薄荷醇吸嗅组大鼠空间学习记忆能力有所改善,并且海马区AChE和GluR1的蛋白表达均明显降低(P<0.01)。结论薄荷醇吸嗅可改善大鼠的学习记忆能力。

Abstract:Objective To study the effect of menthol on rats′ learning and memory,and the expression of acetylcholinesterase(AChE) and glutamate receptor 1(GluR1) in the hippocampus by the olfactory pathways.Methods Twenty adult Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into clean air suction smell group(control group) and smelling menthol group.The rats of the smelling menthol group received smelling menthol 1 h every day.The rats were submitted to behavioral testing for learning and memory in the Morris water maze.The expression of AChE and GluR1 in hippocampus was observed by immunohistochemical method.Results Compared with control group,the learning and memory ability of the rats in the smelling menthol group had improved,and the expression of AChE and GluR1 in hippocampus had significant differences between two groups(P< 0.01).Conclusion Menthol can improve the ability of learning and memory through olfactory pathway.
